Eligibility Criteria
1. Head Constable Driver Mechanic• HSC (12th) Pass
• ITI in Motor Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Welder / Auto Electrician
• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License
• Minimum 3 Years Driving Experience
• RTO endorsement for hazardous goods (where applicable)
2. Police Sub Inspector (Motor Transport)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
• Degree from a recognized university
3. PSI (Wireless) & Technical Operator
• Bachelor’s Degree (4 Years) in Electronics / Communication / Telecommunication / IT / Computer Engineering
• Degree from a recognized university
Age Limit (As on 29 January 2026)
Head Constable Driver Mechanic• Maximum Age: 33 Years
• Age Relaxation: Women +5 yrs, Reserved Men +5 yrs, Reserved Women +10 yrs (Max 45), Sports +5 yrs, Ex-Servicemen +3 yrs, PWD as per rules
PSI (Motor Transport)
• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• Age Relaxation as per rules
PSI (Wireless) & Technical Operator
• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• Age Relaxation as per rules
Application Fee
• General Candidates: ₹100 + Bank Charges• Reserved / Others: As per rules / Exempted
Physical Standards
For Male Candidates• Height: ST Gujarat 162 cm, Others 165 cm
• Chest: 79 cm (deflated), 84 cm (inflated – 5 cm expansion)
For Female Candidates
• Height: ST Gujarat 150 cm, Others 155 cm
Unfit Conditions: Knock knees, pigeon chest, squint, flat feet, varicose veins etc.
