HAL ITI & Vocational (10+2) Apprentices Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline, Eligibility, Age Limit & Selection Process

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has released the official notification for HAL ITI and Vocational Apprentices Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates can apply offline for ITI and Vocational (10+2) Apprentices posts.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27 Years
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD candidates (as per rules)

• Passed 10th class or equivalent
• Passed prescribed regular full-time ITI training (1 or 2 years per trade)
• ITI must be under NCVT or SCVT
• ITI passed in years 2023, 2024 or 2025
• Must possess pass certificate on date of application
• Appearing / Result awaited / Back paper / Supplementary result awaited candidates are NOT eligible

• Passed Intermediate (12th) examination
• With concerned Vocational Trade subject
• Passed in years 2023, 2024 or 2025

• Candidates pursuing or having completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act are not eligible
• Students of COE (Centre of Excellence) course are not eligible
• Only Indian Nationals are eligible

• Stipend will be paid to ITI Trade / Vocational Apprentices as per Apprenticeship Act, 1961

• Selection will be based on Merit
• Merit will be prepared with:
  • 70% weightage to marks obtained in High School
  • 30% weightage to marks obtained in ITI / Vocational subject (as applicable)
• In case of CGPA, equivalent percentage (correct to two decimal places) will be used
• Rounding off is not allowed (Example: 86.45 will NOT be treated as 86.50)

• Reservation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PWD/HAL Employee ward as per Apprenticeship Act 1961, Government of India & HAL guidelines
• EWS certificate should not be older than 1 year as on 31/03/2026 (issued on/after 01/04/2025)
• OBC (NCL) certificate should not be older than 3 years as on 31/03/2026 (issued on/after 01/04/2023)
• Dependents of HAL employees (working/retired/deceased) must submit application through HR Department of HAL
• ITI trades candidates must be registered on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and have valid registration number
• Vocational trades candidates must be registered with Regional Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (RDSDE), Kanpur-208022
• Applications accepted only by Post/Courier (Normal or Speed Post)
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in selection process
• HAL reserves the right to cancel advertisement/selection process at any stage
• Mere submission of application does not confer any right for selection
• Provisionally selected candidates will be intimated by Post
• Selected candidates must submit Character Certificate (SP/SSP) & Medical Certificate (CMO)
• Suppression of facts / false information will lead to cancellation at any stage
• Candidature may be cancelled during training for misconduct or unsatisfactory performance

3. Attach self-attested copies of:
   • High School marks/certificate
   • ITI / Intermediate marks & certificate
   • NTC
   • Apprenticeship portal registration copy (ITI)
   • Aadhaar & PAN
   • Domicile certificate (issued after 01/01/2023)
   • Caste / EWS / PWD certificate (if applicable)
