🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma or equivalent in Coaching from SAI NS-NIS, Patiala OR
- Diploma/Certificate in coaching from any other recognized Indian or Foreign University OR
- Participation in Olympics / Paralympics / Asian Games / World Championship with Certificate Course in Coaching OR
- Dronacharya Awardee
🎂 Age Limit (As on 01 February 2026)
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC / ST: 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- Ex-Servicemen & Departmental Candidates: As per Government of India norms
- Contractual Employees of SAI: Equivalent to length of service in SAI (cumulative, with cap)

- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Coaching Ability Test (CAT)
- Final Merit List based on:
- CAT – 60% Weightage
- CBT – 40% Weightage
CBT Details:
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Total Questions: 100 MCQs
• Negative Marking: 1/4 mark for each wrong answer
• Syllabus: Sports-specific knowledge (65 marks), Sports Science (25 marks),
General Awareness & Reasoning (10 marks)
CAT Details:
• Coaching Ability Test carries 60% weightage in final merit
• Designed to assess coaching knowledge, application, and effectiveness
