Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) from a recognized board.
- Candidate must possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) / National Apprentice Certificate (NAC).
- ITI certificate must be issued by NCVT.
- Candidate must have qualification in the relevant trade.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 35 Years
- SC / ST : 5 Years Age Relaxation
- OBC : 3 Years Age Relaxation
- PwD : Up to 10 Years Age Relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen : As per Government rules
Contract Period
- Initial engagement will be for 1 year.
- Contract may be extended up to 4 years based on factory requirement and candidate performance.
Place of Posting
Selected candidates may be posted at Ordnance Factory Kanpur (OFC), Field Gun Factory Kanpur (FGK) or other allied units of AWEIL depending upon requirement.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Basic Pay : ₹18,000 per month
- Pay Matrix : 7th CPC Level-1
- Dearness Allowance (DA) applicable
- 3% Annual increment based on performance
- EPF and other benefits applicable
- HRA applicable if government quarters not provided
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on NCVT / NTC marks
- Trade / Practical Test

- Final Merit List
Final merit list will be prepared with 80% weightage of NCVT marks and 20% weightage of Trade Test.
